How is tcp chat supported in chat?

I implemented an XMPP chat client with the Facebook Chat API, it can log in and chat. But I found that Facebook's XMPP server does not support XEP-0199. Therefore, if the client does not send or receive a message for a long time (tcp connection is idle), the client will be disconnected.

How does Facebook support TCP chat?

In XMPP, there is the practice of sending one space at a time. It supports TCP connection.
