Rate the application on the Android market in the application

Android Market ratings are important for application developers. I often saw applications that said something like “Please think about rating us,” and then you have buttons for “Ok take me to market” / “Not Now.”

What I would like to do is show the user a rating bar (for example, http://kozyr.zydako.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/defaultRatingBar.png ) inside my application and let the user perform a rating inside my application instead sending it to the market.

Is there any way to do this?

Rating is done through a market app so that ratings can be trusted. If applications were allowed to process the rating themselves, the developer would provide his application with very high ratings. Therefore, you cannot handle the rating yourself.
