How to disable git in aptana? or turn it off?

Git in Aptana (Linux) is invalid - it shows incorrect (old) information, and I am not comfortable working with it. I use git through the command line and gitg. Please, help..

This Aptana ticket # 1988 reports:

  • Unable to disable git integration in Studio 3 in November 2010.
  • Aptana should have an option (as of March 2011) to turn off automatic sharing.

According to the APSTUD-1372 ticket , this option was delivered in the final of Aptana Sudio3, so try to check if Aptana3.0.4 from 12 days ago ( 2011-08-15 ) will work better for you.

You can disable automatic git support in settings-> command -> Git

To enable / disable individual projects go to Project Explorer-> right-click-> Team

here you can share (enable git repo) and disconnect.
