ITunes doesn't recognize RSS feed apps as valid podcast episodes?

iTunes does not recognize apps in our RSS feed as podcast episodes. We use Feedburner to add iTunes-specific tags to the feed, but iTunes also has problems with the original feed.

Here is our original RSS feed:

http://www.esvbible.org/devotions/rss/chronological/

Here is our Feedburnerized feed:

 http://feeds.feedburner.com/ESV-Chronological

Here's the podcast page on the Apple website:

 http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/esv-chronological/id301024126

Cabinets still exist with the appropriate type. Feedburner changed the length of the cabinet from an empty string to "0", which, after checking the specification, is technically correct. What am I missing?

Turns out iTunes completely ignores the MIME type and depends on the .mp3 file extension in the URL. Adding an extension captures the feed.
