Tool to track sending HTML messages?

Is there a way (or tool) that helps to see (or register) exactly what is sent to HTML <FORM METHOD=POST> in response to pressing the <INPUT TYPE="submit"> button?

http://www.wireshark.org/ Works well. It monitors all network traffic and handles most (all?) Protocols. You should see this as an HTTP request.

Google Chrome web tools let you see what was sent in the HTTP request, post vars, etc.

or if you are a species or person of Firefox:

Yes, in Chrome \ Safari you can use various tools, such as Firebug or developer tools, you can see what is sent to the server headers and response body. You will need to “follow the log when navigating” in Chrome or “save” in Firebug to see the answer.

In chrome, this is on the "Network" tab, in Firebug, in the "Network" section. Ps there are other tools for different browsers, I just use these two most.
