I am creating a print css file to beautifully print a web page with several input elements. Everything looks good when printed from PC browsers, but when I look at chrome on a Mac, the selected item prints with rounded corners and selects the arrows in black (see Img)

css on this
select {
border: none; overflow: visible; background: none;
}
How do you get rid of background things - you donβt even know what to call them, are they images ??
I managed to find a solution for this ...
-webkit-appearance: none;
This seems to remove all rendering on the element and leave it as selected text when printed.
