Aptana Studio terminal: copy / paste short keyboard shortcuts on Ubuntu

Does anyone know if there is a problem with Ctl + Shift + C and Ctl + Shift + V on the Aptana Studio 3.x terminal for copy / paste?

I'm on Ubuntu 11.04 and I can't remember that it ever worked for me.

Is there another short snippet for copy / paste?

I have not tried this on Ubuntu yet, but I think there is an error, regardless of the OS. To get around this problem, I found out that when you cut / paste between open applications (that is, from notepad to Aptana or Libre Office to Aptana), the paste sometimes stops working. However, if you open Firefox, find any website with an HTML text box and paste the text there, then cross it out of the HTML text box and paste it into Aptana, then it will work.

Make sure you do not send the HTML text box :)

I love Aptana, in the end she greatly outweighs DW.

You can set these keyboard shortcuts in Windows> Preferences> General> Keys, search for copy and paste. Copy each command and set the shortcut to Binding, i.e. Shift + Ctrl + V to paste.

Pressing Ctrl + Shift + V in Aptana on Ubuntu 15 (and earlier versions) will block and freeze the entire Aptana editor and cause it to crash in the most unpleasant way with unsaved files, etc.

To avoid this crash, I found that setting an unused key binding for Shift + Ctrl + V, as mentioned above by juanolalla, seems to capture these keystrokes and avoids the crash.

For some reason, there are two โ€œPasteโ€ options in the โ€œKeysโ€ section, so I just assigned one of them to Ctrl + V and the other to Shift + Ctrl + V, and now my life is over and my girlfriend isnโ€™t I need to listen to the fact that I flip my things at 1:30 in the morning, when I accidentally use the terminal style palette in Aptana.
