Pressing Ctrl + Shift + V in Aptana on Ubuntu 15 (and earlier versions) will block and freeze the entire Aptana editor and cause it to crash in the most unpleasant way with unsaved files, etc.
To avoid this crash, I found that setting an unused key binding for Shift + Ctrl + V, as mentioned above by juanolalla, seems to capture these keystrokes and avoids the crash.
For some reason, there are two โPasteโ options in the โKeysโ section, so I just assigned one of them to Ctrl + V and the other to Shift + Ctrl + V, and now my life is over and my girlfriend isnโt I need to listen to the fact that I flip my things at 1:30 in the morning, when I accidentally use the terminal style palette in Aptana.
