Print Version for Mac LION

Lapack 3.2.1 is not completely safe on the right ... but 3.3 is what netlib has recently released using intel.

So, does anyone know if Lapack 3.3 will ship with the new MacPro.

The LAPACK version is right in the header:

Definitions and prototypes for LAPACK v3.2.1 as provided Apple Computer.

In particular, this is a modified version of clapack -3.2.1, in which there were some of the commonly used routines (for example, the LU factor and solution, Cholesky decomposition, etc.) Replaced by manually configured implementations.

Edit: Please note that I said that this is a modified LAPACK-3.2.1. In particular, among other modifications, the slamch and dlamch have been changed to make them both thread safe and re-operational. If you come across any routines that are not thread safe, this is a serious bug that you should report .
