Where to start with Augmented Reality

Question

I checked several existing streams and it looks like AR still has a very small exposure. I just think to start the AR prototype project, just to understand as much as possible.

For starters, I'm going to try this with Android phones. From other threads, people have recommended many different SDKs, some of them

• Android-AR-Kit: https://github.com/haseman/Android-AR-Kit , which looks pretty old to me and doesn't update

• Qualcomm AR SDK: https://ar.qualcomm.com/qdevnet/sdk

Obviously, I'm looking for something for free, as for now I'm just prototyping.

What are your recommendations? and the suggestion of links to start training / tutorials, the basic idea of ​​AR programs (with the exception of those related to textbooks with the SDK) is much appreciated.

Take a look at the Ferns . This allows you to make marker AR, which is much more interesting than ARD based on fiduciary markers.
