Zend vs Symfony Training Time

Get to know Zend Framework or Symfony faster? What structure has clearer documentation?

I think both frameworks take some time to learn correctly, but you cannot beat the Symfony documentation.

I think the documentation for both is pretty clear. But somehow it seems that ZF is easier to learn, because it consists of many freely related classes. Symfony is more consistent with me, and fundamental terms such as "bundle" are a little more difficult to learn than ZF.

I study Symfony, and I think that the l-curve is very difficult for him for the first days (at least a week of complete immersion), especially if you have never heard of ORM, layouts, templates and so on. I spent 1 hour a week since November 2010, and now I'm stuck ... Zend is probably a little easier, but I'm not sure if it depends on your technical background. Some of my colleagues say that ZF is valid as Symfony, and it is easier to learn. The online documentation is incomplete (ZF specialist's words), and you should buy a third-party book to focus on training. Symfony instead has a good selection of free online books (I use Practical Symfony).

I would say that zend is harder to learn ... not because it is complex, but because it is simple in design. As many point out, it is loosely coupled. It can be integrated into everything ... any other framework. To create such a friendly foundation for development, the level of simplicity is exaggerated. And to do one small thing, for example, to modify the design of some form, you end up confused in too many things and started banging your head between the decorator template, the factory template, but you still don’t recognize anything related to the frame itself. But give me time, it will start to make sense in the end, and when that happens, you will be happy that you decided to go with the zend card
