The strange behavior of the Xcode product build path in the Build Location section

I was looking for an answer, but could not find, so I post the question here.

Each project that I created under Xcode4 gets exactly the same "Path of finished products" as part of the project or target settings - Build locations

Interestingly, is it because I did something in Xcode 3 and somehow constantly set the value?

I completely uninstall and reinstall from scratch and still the same thing.

I just created 3 new ios projects (Windows based) under xcode4 and they all have exactly the same meaning for Path Products Path ... in my case it always points to

/ Users / RebeccaKennedy / Documents / Projects / iPhone / TMP

everytime! every project ... it gets very annoying ...

• Close all your projects in Xcode, but leave Xcode open
• Open ~ / Library / Preferences / com.apple.dt.Xcode.plist
• Find Key: IDEApplicationwideBuildSettings
• Delete two items in this key
• Save, restart Xcode

be careful with step two..dt. for Xcode 4. without dt for Xcode 3.

This is almost certainly the result of Xcode switching old preferences to 4 out of 3.

You did not say that you tried ... but check this parameter in the Xcode settings.

I assume you checked these two locations (tmp search)?
