Phone detection tablet with 51degrees.mobi

I am trying to find a way to identify a mobile device as a phone or tablet. I am using the C # library at 51Degree.mobi (http://51degrees.codeplex.com/). I see that the Browser object already has the IsMobileDevice property, so I know if it is a mobile device or not, but now I am looking for another IsTablet property (or some other way to find out). I believe that I can justify this decision by the size of the screen, but it does not seem solid.

It is configured inside your web.config. You should use the is_tablet check and write something like:

<location name="tablet" url="/Tablet/Tablet.aspx"> <add property="is_tablet" matchExpression="true"/> </location>

See: http://51degrees.mobi/Support/Documentation/Foundation/UserGuide.aspx for their complete guide.

For those who stumble upon this in the future, it may be important to remember that the current version (March 2012) does not provide the IsTabletDevice property if you do not have a premium version.
