NSIS Terms of Use

Can someone explain to me what the NSIS licensing terms mean? http://nsis.sourceforge.net/License

It still seems that the system is used in commercial products, but the ZLIB / PNG / BZIP2 / LZMA / CPL1.0 part confuses me.

Do I have to include a license page with all these licenses in the setting that the user must agree to? Or are they intended only for modifications of the source code? Or only if you are compressing data using one of the libraries?

NSIS is a software application . The license information presented on the license page describes use, distribution, modification cases for NSIS itself . Since you do not distribute "NSIS", but the output file (installer for your application) that NSIS creates, You must not include these licenses in your application (and installer).

You do not need to display the special nsis license in a regular installer (except that your installer includes the nsis source code, I think)

All but the compression of bzip2 and lzma is ZLIB / PNG, and it is a very open and pleasant license (this includes the contents of the wiki, unless otherwise specified, IIRC). If you are not distributing modified versions to nsis, you probably have nothing to worry about. (And, of course, IANAL and TINLA)
