Spring MVC vs Spring WebFlow

I am doing some research for some kind of social network project that I am about to start. I used Spring before I cannot make a decision at the moment, as there are too many options to choose from.

I would like to use JSF2.0 components for my views, and as far as I understand, web stream is a good way to do this, but it is not necessary.

What are the benefits of web streaming through Spring web mvc? My first impression of WF is too hard to make.

Thank you in advance

Webflow is dedicated to threads in a web application.

Think of a Wizzard with multiple pages, then Web Flow will help you connect these pages (in a stream) and provide a variable scope for connecting a variable with this stream.

While Spring MVC is only about isolated pages.
