How to get longitude and latitude from GPS on WP7?

I am writing an application that should receive longitude and latitude from GPS by phone. I am saving money to buy a phone, but for now I will have to stick with the emulator. Is there a way to simulate some fake, random gps settings with an emulator?

The question is aside: are there any Windows phones that I should avoid buying, any tips?

The emulator itself does not provide any support for "fake GPS", but there are a few tricks of the emulator so that you can fake GPS data:

I previously used the http://wp7gps.codeplex.com/ solution - I selected it before the official one came out, as it gives you the same data every time (helped with testing)

Above the codeplex link there is a fake.cs file that doesn't work at all. and other links that have been provided have expired.
