How can you find out if a specific HTML 5 function is implemented in a specific browser version?

I assume that there should be a website that collects information about the HTML 5 function and which version of the browser starts supporting them.

This may be a good way to make a decision based on your website profile if you can apply this HTML 5 feature without backing up for your visitors.

Do you know such a site / resource?

For example, I want to know which browsers support the multiple-download feature for logins and the browser version.

Update

I am not satisfied with the sites offered, so I open the award.

Suggestions so far:

Html5Test, Caniuse, modernizr.com, QuirksMode

Update 2

Some people do not understand the question. I need to implement the multi-load function. I know from analytics which browser they use (I know that this is not 100% correct).

I am willing to sacrifice some visitors without offering some additional features, but I need to understand how great this team is . I am NOT trying to DETECT anyway the browser. This is a similar approach with other sites that have dropped support for IE 6.

Therefore, please do not talk about bad practice.

Try looking at Html5Test or caniuse .

If this is the server side, you can analyze the user agent to see if the client version supports HTML5. Wikipedia is your friend. If it is a client side, Modernizr library.

HTML5Test.com collects information, but they do not provide detailed reports for reading.

A good reference site for some things is http://www.browserscope.org/ , but this is not related to the granularity of HTML5 support

Another source of related material is http://w3c-test.org/html/tests/reporting/report.htm , which creates a set of HTML testing tools that you can run. You or someone who would like to create this information could use these tests, and then save the UA string of each browser that came to the site with the results of each test. Then you can simply find the earliest version of each type of browser in which the function works successfully.

I think that this information is stored in the databases of the mentioned sites, but they simply do not display it, which sucks. Perhaps try emailing them and suggest adding these reports.

Take a look at caniuse.com , exactly what you are looking for.

QuirksMode is also a great resource, and there is an entry for entering multiple files.
