Word 2010: How to edit / view existing add-on menu commands and custom toolbar items

I am the developer of a Word 2010 wizard file (actually created with an earlier version of Word) that has a menu command and a number of custom toolbar items on the add-ons tab.

I found information on how to add new tabs and how to change the ribbon, but I cannot find a way to edit / view existing menu commands and custom toolbar items in the add-ons menu.

As far as I know, the add-ons ribbon tab is added automatically to display add-in command line items from previous versions of Word, for example. Word 2003. The goal was to allow users to use these add-ons without the need to explicitly convert the user interface.

It is not clear from your question whether you are a user or an add-in developer. If you are a developer, you can convert your add-in to dotm format and just add the ribbon user interface to it. You can find a good resource to start with on the MVPS Word page here .
