How is the Billing for Channel API executed?

I chose a google engine application because of its scalability, and now I'm trying to figure out how much I will have to pay once I release the product.

I looked back and forth in the Google engine documentation to find the answer to the question and could not find. I found some details on the Quotas page, I found how much I can get for free, and how much the default quota for billing costs.

The Billing Page has a number for the CPU, etc. with Resource and Unit and how much it costs. But no, where could I find how much it will cost me per channel, calls / created, etc.

I can’t even try to do the calculations using what is in the admin console because the current numbers there are now 0 (since there are 2 users who are programmers).

How can I be ready to release a product that (I hope) will have a huge number of channels created daily?

Is there a page I skipped or is there a tool for calculating?

Thanks!

EDIT: Moishe, thanks for the quick and clear answer. So, here are a few more questions: 1. Do you consider, if necessary, that I can get even more quotas for the number of channels? I saw a special form for requesting additional quotas, but I’m not sure what the Channel-API function includes ... 2. Are there any posts that you made for the "effective use of the channel-API"? I saw something about reusing tokens per user. Is there any more?

Thanks again.

Creating a channel costs about 2.7 CPU seconds. CPU hours cost $ 0.10. Thus, each channel created costs

(2.7 / 3 600) * $0.10 = $7.5 Γ— 10^-5

Thus, the creation of 1000 channels will cost $ 0.075 or 7.5 cents.

You will also receive payment for the normal outgoing bandwidth cost for any data sent over the channel.

The cost of the processor is probably not the biggest problem; you are likely to run into quotas and then run out of money. Paid apps are limited to 86,400 channel creatures / day (1 / second).
