IPhone is not connected.

Hii all,

I tried to test my application on a simulator and it fails. Only the day before, it worked fine. I checked in the organizer window .. all security certificates are installed, but still the color is orange. this does not work. and when I try to debug the application, it shows the error "No iPhone pre-connected."

I had the same problem before I changed the name of the folder where the iphone option is listed, but, unfortunately, now I do not remember where this folder is located. Can someone help me please .. or is there an alternative.

Thanks,

Shibin

There are (at least) two possibilities. As Alex says , if you are trying to run on Simulator, you need to switch the active SDK to one of the Simulator options. The screen shot has a rather old version of the SDK, but the principle is the same.

If, on the other hand, you are trying to run on a phone that worked before you usually just need to restart the phone. Sometimes the process with which the debugger is connected falls into a state and does not respond. Usually restarts.

You can connect a device without connecting to the device only when you try to test the device. Have you checked the active configuration of your project? To run Simulator, you must select the appropriate build configuration. See screenshot: alt text http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/7594/xcodeconfig.png

So, do you see the orange color of the iphone status in the organizer? If this is a problem, just turn off the device and turn it on again. Try reconnecting the device. This most often solves my problem.

Hope this helps.
