How to provide a loan / track contributions?

We use Redmine and SVN to manage a community project with lots of small code views. Starting to encounter the problem of losing track, who encoded which part, since often the code is added by someone else, except the person who encoded it and pulled it out from many places, etc.

I am looking for interesting ideas to track and give credit to various people.

This should be something unrelated to the commit comment (since almost 600 commits in this will be triggered). But hope some other web system

Is there anything similar to this now? Spent several hours at Sourceforge to no avail.

Edit: We are using SVN and are already approaching 600 versions. I would really like for some kind of web system to be separate from the svn commit process, but possibly retrieved from SVN. (I understand that this will add β€œpaper work”, so to speak, but it's worth it).

Congratulations, great problem. :)

The Linux kernel community has adopted the Signed-off-by: line in all patches that intend to integrate into the kernel. (There is even a command line option for git to add a line when importing mbox full of patches; something similar for you might just be a ticket.)
