How to change the system wallpaper / background of an iOS device using Objective-C?

I am curious if it is possible to programmatically change the system wallpaper / background for an iOS device from your own application.

Apple does not provide a public API for this. The user must select a picture to use as wallpaper using the Settings application.

You can make your application a saved snapshot on photos saved by the user and instruct the user to manually change the wallpaper.
