Where is the “Read / Write Class Files” in Xcode 4?

I can’t for any life find any information about where this has moved to Xcode 4. In Xcode 3.2, I would simply select my view / whatever object and go to File> Write Class Files ... and it would save classes for me.

This is probably very easy to answer, but the documentation for Xcode 4 says nothing about this user interface change.

You just don't do it anymore because of the way Xcode 4 integrates the Interface Builder features.

When you look at the view of the interface builder, try clicking a button that looks like a small tuxedo - an Apple option that annoys (to me, I can’t explain why) the assistant icon. You will get a panel of the corresponding scalable source file. Drag the control from the object to the source file - create a preview, IBOutlet or IBAction!

If your IB files are not synchronized with the source, either go to the "write class files" step in Xcode 3 before switching to 4, or make all connections again. You just don’t need to “read class files” because xib and the source are closely related.

See page 65 in the Xcode 4 Transition Guide, "This document is worth reading in its entirety, even if you've been working for many years.
