Deploy Office 2010 Deployment

I am looking for a way to deploy the Visio 2010 add-in correctly. I tried to publish it using ClickOnce and it does the job. But I would like to have only one Setup.exe-style file. Thus, I applied the installation project, unfortunately, without success. The files are copied, I see it in the "Programs" list, but the upload is not registered. Perhaps you know how to check if Visio 2010 is installed during the installation process, if you do not interrupt it, and then register the add-on? Any other solution?

To deploy addin you must

  • Create an installer registry entry in HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office ... (manifest, loadBehavior, friendly name, culuture, etc.)
  • Attach .VSTO and .manifest file to installed files
  • Add VSTO runtime and correct .NET version for prerequisites
