Is there an Android Tablet equivalent for UIPopOverController?

I am just cheating on Android stuff in 3.0. I have fragments created to run the UISplitViewController for iPad. Does anyone know what is the best solution for getting something like an iPad UIPopOverController?

I think that the options are either a separate dialog or something in the action bar ...?

I actually have not seen any Android tablets running 3.0, so it’s not clear what standard will be ...

Thank you very much in advance

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, because I am not so familiar with the UIPopOverController , but I think you can do something like this using Toast with a custom layout.

I would look at Creating Toast Notifications and see if it works for you.

Depending on the functionality necessary for its operation, otherwise you may need to study creating a modeless dialog with a custom layout.

As in the case of your other question, yes, as a rule, the parameters are stored in a separate action in your application, and, following the development of cellular advertising, the activity of functions will be available from the action panel, and the options themselves can be a fragment.

There is nothing official in it, but I would hack the source code for the contact application for 2.0+. They mimic the popover user interface using Activity in a rather creative way. This can be a little more killed, because it is intended for use by any application, not only by ourselves. But that should help you push you in the right direction.

In addition, depending on what kind of behavior you are looking for exactly for the combination of fragments and the action bar, there may be a way, but it will not be as simple as iOS.
