Tracking Values in Eclipse

Do Eclipse Java tools have an equivalent (built-in or plugin) for checking value tracking in ReSharper? This will look like a hierarchy of calls, but keeps track of all previous value assignments and arguments for a specific variable.

To clarify, I'm looking for a tool that uses static analysis to track the origin of a value in an IDE; it is not debugging at runtime.

Using debug mode in eclipse is very powerful. (Add a watch!)

Select the variable, and then press Ctrl + Shift + G or right-click-> Links-> The workspace will provide you with all the links of a specific variable, and you can see where it was assigned or passed as an argument so it appears in the box below, and a double click will lead you directly to the link.
