Looking for a diff editor for Perforce on Linux similar to Beyond Compare?

I am looking for a command line editor for cmd command line that will be used on Linux. It should allow me to edit in VIM mode (you can use my VIM shortcuts, etc.), but at the same time have features such as viewing files side by side, switching to previous / next editing, etc.

It would be great if he did not require an X server, then I could use it directly from putty!

It sounds like vimdiff. I assume you will get it with vim because I never installed it manually.

Perforce has p 4merge for linux, or you can try kdiff3 (based on KDE) or meld (based on gnome). Personally, I prefer meld.

Beyond Compare had a Linux distribution for some time. See: http://www.scootersoftware.com/download.php
