We are trying to deploy the Silverlight + WCF RIA Services application on the IIS 6 web server. When the silverlight application runs in a browser, I get an error message. Using Fiddler , I see a real error:
EndpointNotFoundException The Web-AuthenticationService.svc service does not exist.
Of course, if I try to go to the service in the browser, it will not be found:

I investigated this error as much as I could, having tried the following things:
- Ensure that RIA Services assemblies are included in the bin folder of the site.
- Then, verify that the RIA services are installed on the server.
- Ensuring the use of only 1 authentication scheme (both in the web configuration and in the settings of the IIS site).
- Triple verification that configuration sections are present as described here .
Can anyone give more advice?
Update
I manually added the svc file to the ClientBin folder, and the problem was "resolved". Now I turn to the timeout problem when the login request is called. Why should I add the svc file manually?
