How to disconnect Apple iAds network?

I had Apple iAds in my application. Now I deleted them. However, I was having trouble finding the "off" switch on itunesconnect. I don’t want my app to no longer receive ads . How can i do this?

If you did not have the foresight to develop your application so that you can begin to refuse advertising, it is unlikely that you can do much to disable advertising in versions of the application that currently exists. The best you can do is remove any instances of ADBannerView from your application, rebuild and release the update.

I never tried to disable iAds, and the fact that this question went unanswered until it suggests that this is an unusual situation. You can call Apple Developer Services at 1-800-633-2152 (in the United States) to find out if you can cancel your agreement or take other actions that will cause Apple to stop showing your ads.

iAds can only be disabled if the application is in an “editable” state, that is, when sending a new binary file.

When you send binary with remote ADBannerView, you must disable it when you configure metadata for the new version.

From iTunes Connect Deployment Guide p. 129:
“Once your application is submitted, iAd cannot be disabled. To remove ads from the application, you will need to send a new binary file with the removal of advertising functions.”
