Replacing the plus sign (+) from a UITextField is a strange error

I searched for it and found nothing - anyone noticed!

β€’ Locate the UITextField on your iOS 4.2 device β€” it works somewhere.
β€’ Enter something, then enter the plus sign (+).
β€’ Click backspace.

Plus sign And the next letter is deleted, as if you had deleted twice! Also, if you enter a string of plus signs, backspace will display a lot (plus the next character!).

I was going to spend hours finding an error in my code, but its wider !:-)

I tested it in a simulator - the same result, but only for 4.2, older versions do not!

I did not install 4.3, it did not pass, did he need reporting - or, even worse, is it somehow in design ?!

Ben.

I see this on my ipod (4.2), but I can’t get it on my ipad (4.3), so maybe they fixed it.

You can always specify an error if you want.

I can't think of any logical reason for this to happen, so I don't think it's design. I think you need to report this.

If it was fixed in 4.3, they will tell you.

I think that the fact that it is a symbol for adding and that it adds to the amount of text to be deleted is a very big coincidence. This must be the wrong experiment code. You also cannot move the cursor to the middle of a piece of text as follows: x +. I am using iPod touch iOS 4.
