How to enable enter button on keyboard on wp7?

I noticed in a specific application for wp7 that they could use the enter key on the keyboard to send, but by default, when you press the enter key, it goes to the next line. I even noticed that the input key is different from the default input key.

How do you send, and if possible, how do you change the way you enter your input key?

Any advice, answers or resources will be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to change InputScope to "Text" and then grab the enter key in the KeyDown event.

As InputScope states, the keyboard layout depends on the specified InputScope . You can find several illustrations of the various layouts on Jeff Blankenburg's blog .

If you're interested in using the Enter key for "tabs" between input fields, you can use great behavior .

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems more standard (on a touch device) to initiate sending / input in up / release mode. One of the advantages is that if you click the adjacent key on the one that was intended, you can drag it and release it.
