UIWebView does not display all content!

I am surprised that I have not seen many records for this problem. I can not find a solution for this. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a UIWebView that displays MOST content on my website, but always disables part of the content at the bottom, and I cannot scroll down.

When I try to scroll it (scroll), I can see the rest of the content, but get a β€œbounce” effect as soon as I release the swipe, so I really can’t scroll the rest of it. (i.e., the UIWebView bounces back, cutting off the contents).

I tried with another site on which I can scroll, but the same thing happened. The last 100 or so pixels are cropped, and I can't get to it.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a solution for this? thanks polo

Check and make sure your UIWebView is no bigger than the borders of your view / screen. It looks like it is taller than the view it built in (or the scope of your device), and the last ~ 100 pixels are displayed correctly off the screen, giving the impression that you can pull them out for viewing, but they always snap to their position by outside of your visible area by default.

This is more than 3 years, but I realized that the Dominican Republic does not indicate a correct solution.

To view the scroll to show all content while scrolling, follow these steps:

  • go to the storyboard.
  • click the parent view containing your UIWebview
  • In the right pane, click the "File Inspector" button, then find "Auto Market" and deselect.
  • then click on UIScrollview
  • Click "Size Inspector"
  • make sure everything in the autosave field is selected (all 4 directions inside and out

small box). This will make your scroll view expand or shrink if necessary.

to make scrollview inside uiwebview work correctly.
