The true answer is no.
But there are workarounds, one of which is the Flex Iframe mentioned above.
The workaround is based on a real iFrame created by JavaScript over Flash and the clever connection between Flash and that JavaScript.
The big flaw is wmode = opaque , which you must use to enable anything to do on Flash. There are accessibility issues, performance issues, and even stability issues related to opaque mode, however sometimes you need to do what you need to do.
