An FTP client that works similar to Dropbox?

I'm trying to help a great designer who sadly runs out of space on his Dropbox, but is already paying for a hosting that has 100 GB for her. Is there software that works and that integrates easily into Explorer and updates files on FTP that you yourself can assign?

Thanks!

What you are looking for is something like FTPBox http://ftpbox.org/

Hell in your case Id think about buying a NAS drive :) QNAS do their best on the market, they can be configured as ftp servers, have almost terabyte space, allow integration with windows and linux and create brilliant samba servers.

It all depends on your requirements, which you did not specify too clearly. Do you want online storage (web / dav / ftp / sftp) or storage on your own network?

If you are looking for a solution that is available for almost every OS and where the repository is located somewhere in our wonderful Internet verse, the solution could be webdav / s . I'm not sure if I understand the expression "FTP files that you yourself can assign." Please be a little more specific.

You can try IQBox, my own free open source project. It syncs using FTP-SSL by default (you can also use non-SSL FTP, but not recommended because of security.) This is a simple synchronization application for FTP. Official download page for IQBox FTP client

If they use Windows, they can configure the FTP account as "Network Location", then you can use it as a regular folder on your PC. Drag and drop.
