Where can I download Sharepoint DLLs

I need to master Sharepoint DLL. I understand that they are available from the Sharepoint server, however the company for which I work is quite large, and the server cannot get anywhere closer to copying the DLL. Somewhere I can download them so I can create a VB.NET application locally!

You need to develop a virtual machine with SharePoint installed on this machine. If your company has an MSDN subscription, you should be able to download the installation media if it is not already available.

However, Microsoft has guidance on how to perform this action on your physical machine here .

You can download the Sharepoint Foundation installer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=49c79a8a-4612-4e7d-a0b4-3bb429b46595&displaylang=en

No MSDN required - this is a free download, and the Sharepoint Foundation is completely free if you already have a SQL Server and Windows Server license.

As Nat said, it is highly recommended that you do development in a virtual machine and set up the full Sharepoint setting there.

Here is a setup guide, but there are many others: http://www.drowningintechnicaldebt.com/DennisBottjer/archive/2009/11/30/sharepoint-2010-foundation-development-demonstration-installation-guide.aspx

After Sharepoint is installed on your virtual machine, you can find the DLLs in the c: \ program files \ common files \ microsoft shared \ web server extensions \ 14 \ ISAPI directory
