Missing version control plugin in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate

Question

After the computer crashed, I had to reinstall Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. But after installation, the Source Control Plugin option (Tools> Options> Source Control> Plug-in Selection) does not show any available option. Before reinstalling, I usually use TFS.

I have tried several things:

• Uninstall a clean installation (several times, even delete directories and clean registry entries before reinstalling).

• I downloaded Visual Studio Team Explorer and installed it myself.

I had the same problem, fixed it by downloading the command explorer from this link

Not quite sure how it was not installed with Ultimate Media.

This is an .iso image, and I use Virtual Clone Drive to mount the image.

Go to Visual Studio Help> About and make sure the Team Explorer component is present.
