Does Jetpack work with Thunderbird? If so, where is a simple example?

From what I could tell, earlier versions of Jetpack supported plug-in development for Firefox and Thunderbird, but the current site only mentions Firefox 4.

Did they give up support for Thunderbird?

If not, can someone give me an example of a greeting style? Google did not help.: /

Most likely, some, perhaps many parts of the SDK will continue to work as before, but you will probably encounter errors that you will have to look mostly at your own discretion.

The core team never supported or tested the use of the SDK to create Thunderbird add-ons, so the Thunderbird support announcement was removed from install.rdf .

I assume that you just need to undo this change for install.rdf to get started.
