Custom Tool Warning: Cannot load one of the requested types

Question

I get a warning trying to add a link to a cloud service from another running project and use it in a Windows Phone 7 project for communication.

I get a warning:

Custom Tool Warning: One or more of the requested types cannot be loaded. Get the LoaderExceptions property for more information.

This warning comes from the Reference.svcmap file

I tried to restart the Service Reference, as I found on some other site, but still does not work, and I get this warning again.

I managed to get rid of such warnings by adding a web service, not as a service link, but as a web link.

How to do it:

• Right-click the project and select Add Service Link.
• In the Add Service dialog box, click the Advanced button.
• In the Service Link Settings dialog box, click Add Web Link.
• In the Add Web Link dialog box, you can specify the URL of the web service.
