Beyond Compare - ignore white lines

Question

I use Beyond compared to diff HTML / PHP files between Windows PC and Linux. I want to compare the contents of a file.

I cannot figure out how to make it ignore empty space (spaces or spaces at the beginning / end of lines).

I'm sure this should be doable, right?

Try setting the file format and enable the Ignore Unimportant Differences option:
