Rhodes v / s titanium

What is the best framework for developing a cross-platform application. Especially for android and iphone. I went through reviews submitted over the Internet, but they seem pretty old. I believe that over the past couple of years, Titanium and Rhodes have evolved significantly.

One of the main differences is the naturalness of the two frameworks. Both the Rhodes Framework and the Titanium claim to be native. Rhodes, however, is not really native, i.e. Uses a built-in web browser to display an HTML-encoded website. However, Titanium takes your JavaScript code and creates real widgets of its own on the respective platforms.

So, what is so important about the native? Well, this makes the user much better .

The Rhodes Framework is best described as a competitor for PhoneGap.

As far as I know, Rhodes is best suited for enterpriseisey applications. I would recommend Titanium to most application developers.

Although I have not used Rhodes, I feel that Titan is better based on what I read about Rhodes. The JS syntax in Titaniums is also easily extensible. But from what I saw, understanding how your own code works is useful for understanding and explaining some of the behavior. There is another comparison of the frameworks that I found recently here .
