Compiling from source and deb package

I am compiling several C / C ++ packages from a source on Ubuntu. I compare the results of my build with the launch with the debian installation and find that my executables are slower.

I used readelf -a to compare two executables. Things like the relocation section for .rela.dyn are significantly different, but I'm not sure what documentation I should look for in order to understand such differences.

Does anyone have any tips on trying to configure gcc to create executables like the ones I found in the deb package?

Well, since this is open source, you should get the compilation flags that they use to generate executable files :)
