Jqgrid mask decimal cells

Question

I have a float type column inside the jgrid, I want to mask the cells of the column when the user enters the cell. to illustrate, the mask should be 99999.99 (when 9 = any number between 0-9). I want no more than 5 digits to the left of the point and a maximum of 2 digits to the right of the point - and that it will be possible to enter less than max.

How can I mask this column as a decimal number?

formatter: 'number', formatoptions: { decimalPlaces: 2 } 

is it from wiki docs or if these predefined ones do not work, you can create a custom formatter
