Git and Emacs23 have a tutorial / guide?

From what I read during the search:

emacs23 added built-in support for git, so are parts of this manual marked as deprecated? I'm a little confused

Where will be the best tutorial / guide for this?

To understand what I'm coming to, I have experience with git. I have used Emacs in a somewhat trivial way for many years.

I just want to be able to do pull / commit / push from emacs. Is there a simple step-by-step course / guide for this?

He got basically everything you are looking for in the subtitles, as well as some other materials that may be useful later.
