My chronometer always starts at 0:10 or, like at other times ... it does not start at 0:01 itself .. someone can help me

final Chronometer chrono = (Chronometer)findViewById(R.id.chronometer); chrono.setBase(SystemClock.elapsedRealtime()); chrono.start();

You can start the chronometer of any value that you want to use using the setHase method of the chronometer. You can also calculate the elapsed time during starting and stopping the chronometer.

So let me explain what is really going on

In my case, when onCreate is called Chronometer, it starts automatically, I don’t know why, but it happens .. so I found the same solution as suggested by @ezhil above, and it worked for me as well.
