Multitouch Panel for Win32 Application for Windows 7

I am developing a Win32 application (Windows 7) that uses multi-touch input. I tried several multitouch pads running on Windows, such as the MSI Starpad and Macbook pro's built-in touchpad (loaded into Window 7 using Bootcamp), but none of them emit a Windows multitouch event or gesture. Does anyone know how these touchpad drivers send multitouch signals to win32 applications?

Sensory ability is either reported by the firmware through the Microsoft HID driver, or via HID .

According to this page:

MultiTouch Features in Windows 7

You need to process the WM_TOUCH and WM_GESTURE messages in a Windows procedure.
