Alternative Configuration Option

The designer of the configuration section of the project http://csd.codeplex.com is such a wonderful tool, but now I switched to VS2010 (actually forcedly) and it doesn’t support 2010. I use this tool a lot, but now I I can’t, and I have a ton of configuration files for writing.

Is there an alternative to this tool that will work with VS2010?

I hope for a good solution and I will not do the project in VS2008 and manually import the created files. Phew, the thought of using appSettings to store the configuration is just awful.

There is an open discussion governing this issue.

currently it seems that the formal version built for vs2010 does not exist.

I was recently added as a contributor to this project (andym1978). I was able to fix the code to support VisualStudio 2010. We want to do more tests before being released to the official download area 2.0, but I downloaded the unofficial release 2.0 HERE . Report errors on the problems page and I will get back to them as soon as possible.
