Is there a way to sync audio with text. I have to highlight the word by word text for the audio file. I do not know how to start from this. I have not worked on audio files yet. Which view (UITextView or UIWebView) should I use to display my text to implement this function? I create this as an app for reading iPad apps. All suggestions are welcome. - Thanks in advance

There is an open LRC file format that indicates the time and text for audio files. You can easily accept this format in your application.

Try introducing voice recognition software such as PolitePix OpenEars , after each word is recognized, change its color in the application. OpenEars will only recognize words, so this is a great option for children's stories.
