Google Chrome Extension Store tester accounts, but how?

I downloaded the extension to the repository and added the email address for the tester accounts. I published an extension for testers. Now what will happen? I thought that Google would send them invitations, but it is clear that this is not so.

Also, how many test accounts can I add?

At the bottom of the application there is a "Publish to verify accounts" button. Everything is explained in the documentation, which is step 9.

I had the same problem (testers were not automatically notified) and found a solution / workaround:

• Have each of your testers log in to https://chrome.google.com/webstore
• Give them a direct link to your extension (i.e. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/your-long-extension-ID- go here )

Just give it time to publish, and the tester can access via a direct link
