Is the left pad applied from nowhere (CSS paranormal declaration)?

Question

If you use the Firebug inspector and hover #jimgMenu ul , you will see that he left the add-on but did not #jimgMenu ul css rule to it:

Where is the left gasket located? Why can't I see the source?

EDIT:

If you click Layout / Metrics, it states that #jimgMenu ul left padding = 40px;

But again, I can’t find where this comes from.

an <-Element also has an indent to prove that its elements do not appear outside the list

You can install your own add-on for ul to rewrite this indent. - I tried this in firebug and it worked.

Have you tried using CSS reset?

Will reset all browser styles to 0 margins and indents.

The user style sheet is used with the following addition (in chrome)

 -webkit-padding-start: 40px;

This is why it is always useful to use css reset to remove all pads and fields specific to each browser.
