What are the iPhone actions that change the height of the status bar?

What actions / events activate the height of the status bar to change on the iPhone?

For example: when an application is visited, when in a phone call, the height of the [[UIApplication sharedApplication] statusBarFrame] is 40, and not the normal height of 20.

IOS Simulator has the option Hardware> Toggle In-Call Status Bar. When this is selected, UIApplicationWillChangeStatusBarFrameNotification and UIApplicationDidChangeStatusBarFrameNotification .

What user actions and / or phone actions cause this? Are there any actions besides phone calls that cause the status bar to be above 20 points?

An audio recording (e.g. with voicememos.app) is different.

Internet connection is becoming active - this is another such activity.

Also turn-based navigation in the map application.

When you use Google, in the status bar you will see that "Google Maps use your location" and "Click to return to navigation" when you use Apple Maps.
