There is currently another Netbeans plugin for accessing the perforce server, placed in this google code repo.
It supports version 7.2.1, and I also use version 7.3. Despite the fact that there are some functions that do not work properly, for example, diff, and in some situations problems arise. For example, in our case, the configuration works only using the configuration file (.p4config).
The PerforceNB plugin does not work well with current versions of Netbeans IDE.
